My love of the woods and nature in general I get from my father and grandfather. Throughout my life, it has been a place that has always brought me the most peace and allowed me the environment to center myself again. I narrowed my choices down to two in college, photography and business. Although my love was photography, I choose business because I thought it would grant me more opportunities. I don't regret the great life lessons I've learned as a manager but the busy schedule offered little chance for photography. That changed or should I say, I changed those circumstances on my 50th birthday. I purchased a nice camera and set boot to dirt once again. I have loved the past year of re-experiencing nature and photography again and have found not only a peace I haven't had in a long time, but a passion. The back burner is no place for passions, dreams or life. Get out and enjoy yours and you will find that something that has been missing in your life that you couldn't quite put your finger on. I did and have been rewarded with each step, shutter click and image.
